The camp was a memorable experience filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful connections. Even though it’s over, the memories and friendships I made will stay with me.

My camp experience was fun and memorable. I made new friends, learned new things, and enjoyed all the activities. It helped me become more confident and independent. Le camp était génial ! Je me suis fait pleins de nouveaux amis avec qui je peux garder contact pendant encore longtemps. Ce camp m’a permis d’appendre plus sur la culture coréenne et sur la vie des coréens immigrés dans d’autres pays. Je me suis fait de merveilleux souvenirs et a appris à être plus indépendante! Merci à Niki et Sein d’avoir été de superbe leaders ! Thank you OKCC

This camp was an enjoyable, immersive opportunity for me to experience Korean culture and make friends from across the globe. I am eternally grateful for all the friends I have made through this camp, I couldn’t have asked for a better group and better surrounding groups. I hope I can someday see them again.

This camp experience was supa funnn i got to make so many more great memories and friends i would love to come back next year and experience an amazing camp again!! i love niki so much hes the best 여왕 ever i will miss him so much i will cry so so so so much when we depart 😭😭💗💗 МОЙ ЛУЧШИЙ ДРУГ, КОТОРОГО Я НИКОГДА НЕ ЗАБУДУ!!!

My time at the camp was truly unforgettable! From exciting outdoor activities to engaging workshops, every day was packed with fun and learning. The staff were amazing – so friendly and supportive – and I made so many new friends from different places. The camp facilities were great, and the food was delicious. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and with a collection of wonderful memories. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic summer experience!

came as a visitor, but I left as part of something bigger. The OKFriends Camp wasn’t just a program; it was a journey through memory, identity, and connection.

 

Ancient palaces stood silent, yet spoke louder than any textbook ever could. Street food sizzled with stories I hadn’t lived—but somehow knew. We tasted bibimbap like explorers, watched traditional dances that moved like history in motion, and wandered alleyways where past and present whispered to each other.

 

But the heart of it all? The people. Other teens like me—from countries scattered across the globe, linked by a shared heritage. Our laughs sounded different, but our bond spoke one language. I met friends I’d never known, and yet somehow, already understood. Korea stopped being just a place on a map—it became a part of me.

 

If you ever get the chance to go on a journey like this, don’t think twice. Because some trips don’t just take you across the world— they take you back to yourself.

 

Das OKFriends Camp war einfach unvergesslich. Nach Korea zu reisen war schon ein Highlight, aber vor Ort wurde es noch besser. Wir haben Paläste besucht, superleckeres Essen probiert und so viel über die Kultur gelernt. Das Beste war, andere Jugendliche mit koreanischen Wurzeln aus der ganzen Welt kennenzulernen – wir hatten sofort eine Verbindung. Ich habe sogar neue Freunde in Korea gefunden. Jetzt fühle ich mich viel näher an meiner Herkunft und verstehe meine Wurzeln besser. Wenn du mal die Chance hast, mach auf jeden Fall mit!

在这次夏令营中仔细欣赏并了解了韩国的传统文化与美丽的风景，雪岳山的风景更是令人难 忘。并且交了许多有趣的朋友，学会了各个国家的语言并了解了当地的风俗，让我身临其境， 领队像家长一样亲切负责，拍了很多可爱有趣的video~~下次还会参加哒！！！

воспоминания об этом лагере останутся со мной на века. я очень доволен всеми мероприятиями, которые были организованы в этом лагере. я познакомился с многими участниками, все разные, но даже так мы смогли стать одним целым. особое спасибо вожатым, которые сделали этот лагерь еще более запоминающимся. я рад, что мне выпала возможность посетить свою родину и был бы рад попасть в эту программу ещё раз. Николай слэй
