[2025] The 5th Young Camp - Day 2: Learning, Sharing, Growing

이튿날 아침,
재외동포협력센터의 모국연수 및 초청장학 사업 소개로 일정이 시작되었습니다. 이번 연수가 지닌 목적과 가치를 깊이 이해할 수 있었던 시간이었어요.

 

On the second morning,
we began the day with an overview of the homecoming camp and scholarship programs offered by the Overseas Koreans Cooperation Center. It was a meaningful session that helped participants better understand the purpose and value behind the program.

 

 

 

 

 

이어 지맥심 교수님께서는 고려인의 러시아 이주 역사부터 시작해 오늘날 차세대 고려인들이 세계 곳곳에서 어떤 사회·문화적 역할을 하고 있는지 흥미진진하게 풀어주셨습니다. 강연 후에는 ‘차세대 고려인으로서 어떤 방향으로 나아가야 할까?’를 주제로 열띤 토론이 이어져 매우 뜻깊은 학술 교류의 장이 되었습니다.

 

Professor Ji Maksim then gave an engaging talk, tracing the history of Koryoin migration to Russia and exploring the social and cultural roles that the next generation of Koryoin are taking on around the world today. After the lecture, participants engaged in a passionate discussion about what direction the next generation should pursue, creating a valuable opportunity for academic exchange.

For lunch, we enjoyed spicy crab stew and bibimbap at a nearby restaurant😁

 

 

 

 

오후에는 초청 장학생 사례 발표와 그룹 멘토링 시간을 가졌습니다.

현재 한국에서 유학 중인 고려인 장학생 선배들이 자신의 도전과 성장 이야기를 솔직하게 들려주었어요.

그룹 멘토링에서는 고민 상담, 진로 조언, 입시와 장학 제도 등 실질적인 이야기가 오갔고 짧은 만남으로도 참가자들이 큰 용기를 얻을 수 있는 시간이었습니다.

 

In the afternoon, we enjoyed presentations from scholarship recipients, followed by group mentoring sessions.

Koryoin students currently studying in Korea shared personal stories about their challenges and growth.

During the group mentoring, participants talked about their concerns, received career advice, and learned about admissions and scholarship programs. Even these brief interactions with senior students provided inspiration and encouragement for all.

 

 

 

 

마지막으로 국내에서 활발하게 활동하고 있는 고려인 인사들의 발표와 토크 콘서트가 이어졌습니다.

서로 다른 나라에서 왔지만 뿌리는 같다는 공감 아래, 참가자들은 고려인 커뮤니티를 어떻게 발전시키고 있는지 다양한 사례를 들을 수 있었습니다. 서로의 문화와 경험을 비교하며 국적을 넘어선 ‘동포 공동체’의 연대감을 더욱 깊이 느낄 수 있는 시간이었습니다.

 

The day concluded with presentations and a talk concert featuring active Koryoin leaders in Korea.

Despite coming from different countries, participants bonded through their shared roots and heard various examples of how the Koryoin community is being developed. Sharing their cultures and experiences brought participants closer together in the Koryoin community.

 

 

2일차에는 참가자들이 선배들을 통해 고려인 공동체를 더 깊이 이해하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 내일은 다양한 외부 활동이 기다리고 있어 기대가 큽니다!

 

Day 2 gave everyone a richer understanding of the Koryoin community through senior students. Tomorrow's field activities promise even more excitement!
