카자흐스탄에서 온 11조 김리아나 참가자의 수기입니다.

I am very happy and grateful that I came to OKF. This was not just a trip or a camp — it was truly an amazing, unforgettable experience that I would gladly repeat again.
I had heard a lot about Korean culture before, but nothing compares to seeing and feeling it all myself. I learned a lot about my own country, about culture, and many other things. I met many new people, had a chance to practice my English and a bit of Korean, which is very important for me. I saw many beautiful places in Korea, learned a lot of interesting and useful information. And in the end, I fell in love with Korea. I realized that this is a wonderful country, and I love everything here. I love the food, the people — I feel truly at home here.
I never expected that one week in another country could affect me so deeply. The entire time I spent at the camp in Korea became one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life. I feel like I changed a lot during this time. I became more emotional, more cheerful. The atmosphere was very warm and beautiful — I truly felt like part of a big family. I met people from different countries, and even though we all came from different backgrounds and cultures, there was still something that united us.
I especially want to mention the food — it was diverse and incredibly delicious. Korean cuisine became a true love of mine. Meals became a separate joy during this trip. I fell in love with Korean food, and I will really miss it back in Kazakhstan.
The locations we visited were absolutely amazing. Korea is a very beautiful country, and I felt genuinely happy to be able to see so many wonderful places. Each place gave me new impressions and bright memories. Each one had its own atmosphere, its own soul. I felt truly happy to see it all with my own eyes. I also took many different photos, which is very important for me and my Instagram.
At first, I was a bit nervous — a new country, unfamiliar culture, another language. But almost all my fears disappeared very quickly. The people at the camp were incredibly kind, open, and sincere. I didn’t know anyone on my team, but because of that, I became more social. I learned what it’s like to be part of a new group in a completely new environment.
I will miss Korea very much. I will miss the feeling Korea gave me — the feeling of home. I didn’t expect to feel this way, but here, among these people, in these places, I felt warmth, peace, and joy. I loved everything — the culture, the people, the nature, the rhythm of life. I really fell in love with this country. It feels like I’ve found a new place where I want to return again and again. And now, I’m seriously thinking about possibly living in this country in the future.
This whole trip was a huge blessing for me. I sincerely thank every volunteer, every teacher, and everyone who put effort into organizing OKF. Thanks to you, everything was perfectly planned, full of soul and warmth. You didn’t just give us a program — you gave us inspiration, knowledge, and memories for a lifetime.
Today is the last day of OKF, but it feels like we just arrived yesterday. Looking back now, it’s hard to believe that it all lasted only a week. It was a week that changed my perspective on the world and myself. I’ll return home with a full heart, with new dreams, and with a deep love for Korea. I feel a little sad that it’s coming to an end, but I know I’m not leaving empty-handed. I’m leaving with a new view of the world, with new friends, and with a dream that has only grown stronger.
Now, Korea is not just a country on the map. It’s a long-awaited dream come true — it’s a part of my soul.
