ㅇ 전 세계 차세대동포(청년) 대상, 한국의 취업·창업 환경과 제도 전반을 이해할 수 있도록 지원, 현장 중심의 체험과 교류를 통해모국에 대한 소속감 제고
※ 저출산 인구감소 환경 속에서 해외 인재의 중ㆍ장기적 국내 유입과 정착 유도

- 해외 체류기간: 5년 이상 합법적으로 해외 체류 중인 재외동포
· 외국 국적 동포, 영주권 보유 동포, 한국 국적 동포, 입양동포 및 입양동포 자녀, 다문화 가정 자녀 등
· 합숙 연수(수강, 여행 등)에 지장이 없는 심신이 건강한 청년 · 해외 출국에 관한 거주국 법률에 저촉되지 않는 자

- 자기소개서 우수 작성자
· 지원동기 및 취ㆍ창업 관련 활동 계획, 성장배경, 이주배경 등 - 독립유공자 후손 및 국가유공자 후손

***재외국민등록부등본은 출력 후 스캔본 업로드 요망

ㅇ 제출 시 유의사항

- 이메일 및 전화번호, SNS, 비상연락처 및 한국 내 연락처는 반드시정확히 기재 필요

- 관할공관의 추천 내용 및 추천 순위(참고)
ㅇ 선정 제외 사항
- 신경ㆍ정신 계통 질환 등으로 치료 중이거나 연수 기간 중 쇼크, 발작, 발병 또는 이상행동 등의 사고 발생 우려가 있는 경우
- 심각한 알레르기 또는 특정 음식 등에 대한 발작ㆍ쇼크 등으로 연수 일정 중 특별한 관리가 필요하거나 안전사고 우려가 있는 경우
- 기타 심신상의 사유로 연수 전 일정 참여가 어렵다고 판단되는 경우
- 허위 사실 기재 또는 제출서류가 사실과 다른 경우
- 연수 목적 및 취지에 부적합하다고 판단되는 경우

* 연수 참가를 목적으로 거주국 출발 왕복 항공권 제출 필요(국내 체류기간 제한 없음)
- 연수 수료자(전 일정 참가자) 대상 현장 현금 지급 예정
ㅇ 지원 경비(연수 기간 내)
- 숙박비, 식비, 활동 체험비, 교통비, 보험 가입비 전액
* 개인 지참금 외에 참가자 부담비용 없음

1. Overview
A. Purpose
○ To help overseas Koreans young adults worldwide gain a broad understanding of Korea’s employment and entrepreneurship environment, systems, and policies, as well as strengthen their sense of connection to Korea through field-based activities and exchange
* Encouragement of overseas talent to enter and settle in Korea mid to long-term amid low birth rates and population decline

E. Main Programs
○ (Common) Orientation, opening and closing ceremonies (welcome lunch and farewell dinner), lectures on Korea’s work environment and culture, talk sessions and mentoring with overseas Koreans settled in Korea, networking among participants, and more
- (Employment Track) Resume and cover letter consultation, visits to Korean companies, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and more
- (Entrepreneurship Track) Special lectures on developing startup models, presentations on planning ideas, field visits for startup discovery, networking, and more

B. Eligibility & Preferred Applicants
○ Qualifications
- Age Requirements: Overseas Korean youth aged 26 to 34
(as of Sep. 14, 2026, the first day of the program)
- Residency Requirement: Overseas Koreans currently residing abroad legally for five years or more
· Overseas Koreans with foreign nationality, permanent residency, Korean nationals, adoptees, children of adoptees, and children from multicultural families
· Must be in good physical and mental health, and able to fully participate in the program activities (e.g., training sessions, traveling)
· Students involved in conflicts with the immigration control laws of the residing country are not eligible.
○ Preferred Applicants
- Applicants with outstanding personal statements
· Motivation for applying, plans for employment or startup activities, personal background, migration background, and other details
- Descendants of persons of distinguished services to independence or the State
- Overseas adoptees and children of adoptees

○ Application Method: Applicants should visit www.korean.net, create an account*, and submit an application.

- Fill out the online application form in Korean or English.

· Korean nationals: copy of the Overseas Korean Registration Certificate
· Overseas Koreans with foreign nationality: Certified Copy of Archived Family Registry, Basic Certificate, Certificate of Family Relations, or other documents that can prove Korean ancestry or overseas Korean status
**Where possible, please submit relevant documents. The information will be used as reference data to understand the current status of overseas Koreans and to develop related policies.
***A scanned copy of the printed Overseas Korean Registration Certificate must be uploaded.
→ Rename the file name of the scanned copy using the participant’s name (no special characters), and hide the Resident Registration Number.

○ Notes
- The application must be submitted online via www.korean.net using the applicant’s own account. Other submission methods will not be accepted. Parents, teachers, or others cannot apply on behalf of the participant.
- E-mail, phone number, social media ID, emergency contact, and contact in Korea must be accurately submitted.
* Enter a frequently used e-mail address, as announcements will be sent by e-mail.
- Any disadvantages due to missing documents or incorrect information are the applicant’s responsibility. Your application may be canceled if any false information is discovered in the submitted documents.
3. Selection Criteria
○ General Principle
-Applicants who submit all required documents will be reviewed and selected through a screening process.
○ Main Criteria
- Whether the self-introduction is substantial and aligns with the purpose of the program
* Motivation for applying, plans for employment or entrepreneurship plans, personal background, migration background, and any other relevant information
- Recommendation from the Korean Consulate General in the residing country (reference)
○ Disqualifying Criteria
- Those receiving treatment for medical conditions with neuropsychiatric symptoms and who could experience shock, seizure, or display of abnormal behavior during the program
- Those with severe allergies or reactions to specific foods that would require special attention during the program or raise concerns about safety
- Those who are deemed unable to participate in the program for other physical or mental health reasons
- Those whose applications contain false information or whose submitted documents are found to be inconsistent with facts
- Those who are deemed incompatible with the objectives of the program
4. Benefits for Participants
| Participants will receive benefits for airfare based on a fixed amount per region, accommodation and meals during the program, program participation fees (including transportation costs), and individual travel insurance. |

* Round-trip ticket from country of residence must be submitted for program participation (no restrictions on stay duration in Korea).
- Cash payment will be made on-site to participants who complete the program (those who attend the full schedule).
○ Supported Expenses (During the Program)
- All expenses related to accommodation, meals, activity fees, transportation, and travel insurance during the program will be fully covered.
* Participants will not be responsible for any additional costs except for personal expenses.
